I received my unit on July 31st. I tried charging it for the first time on August 1st, but it would not charge. I  contacted both PriceFalls and FaceMedix immediately. I actually spoke to a live person at PriceFalls, who told me that they would send a message to FaceMedix. He gave me the phone number for FaceMedix, and I called them directly. It was an answering service, so I left a message. I also wrote a message to them through the order site, explaining the situation. Didn't hear back for a couple of days, and then they told me that I could ship the whole unit back to them and they would contact the manufacturer and send me another one, or I could do that myself. They also said that it would be much quicker if I did it myself. It sounded as if they were trying to get out of their responsibility and that made me uneasy.

I called the manufacturer immediately. They told me that this is a black market unit and FaceMedix is not an authorized dealer. In short, there was no warranty on my unit! They even checked the serial number! I relayed this information to both PriceFalls and FaceMedix. PriceFalls said that they would check into this. FaceMedix, who was only accessible by e-mail, just said that the manufacturer was trying to get out of the warranty. They were actually quite rude and never attempted to take care of their customer. 

At this point (over a week later), I ordered (and paid for) a new charger through the manufacturer. It arrived within one day and the unit is charging and useable. I am very glad that I didn't ship the unit back to FaceMedix, because there is no guarantee that I would get another one back...at least not for quite a while (as they themselves mentioned). They have great prices, but very bad customer service. I tried calling them several times, left messages and never received a call back. The worst part though, is that the manufacturer will not honor the product warranty of items purchased through them. All I can say is BUYER BE WARE! There is a reason that their prices are low.

4) We will not accept returns on any Software, Video Games, iPods, Computer Parts, Electronics items that have been opened (box open or plastic removed) or any Laptops or PC's.


5) We will not accept returns on any Costumes purchased from Aug. 1 until Oct 30. - after October 30. Also, We will not accept any returns at all for any Wigs, Makeup, Tights or Shoes that have been worn. Please note that costume styles can change without notice due to a change in the manufacturer's production. These changes, no matter how slight, are beyond our control. We apologize for any inconvenience. As part of our hassle free return policy you can return any item that doesnt meet your full satisfaction


Delivery and Damaged Shipments 1) Fully inspect all deliveries before signing the receipt even if you do not plan on opening the carton right away. If you do not call us within 7 days of receipt of the item to let us know about shipping damage, we will not be able to refund you. 2) Write down any visible damage such as box crushed, torn, creased and other circumstances about the delivery. 3) If you find concealed damage, save the carton and packaging material.
