Our mission is to offer carefully selected, high-quality toys that encourage creativity, imagination and education. We know that today, more than ever, parents have to balance the time between television and videos to develop their child’s imagination and encourage activity. Have you ever watched your child spend hours playing with an empty cardboard box or beating on a metal pot with a wooden spoon? You will find that the majority of our toys have one thing in common - no batteries required. We offer activities that children can enjoy on their own, and many that you can enjoy with them. Many toys are also compliant with European standards (EN71); which exceed the USA on safety. The company began just after my grandchildren were born. Many of the toys they were playing with were recalled as well as their infant swing and playpen, because several children died and many others were injured. So many toys, found at large department stores, are NOT safe. They ARE popular. The manufacturers choose to spend money on advertising instead of safety testing, whereas the toys available through FunkiFun.com don't advertise at all; they test their toys over and over because a child's safety is of utmost importance. Our goal is to provide safe, quality, affordable toys that last and provide a healthy environment for your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. This is something I learned while researching child development: A child can learn more, playing in front of a mirror than they can watching videos.
