General Policy and Returns CompSource Inc. knows how exasperating it is to receive a defective product. That is why we have integrated an easy online RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) form for all returns click here. Subject to the manufacturers warranty requirements, we will replace or credit any item returned within 30 days of invoice. Most replacement RMA's are shipped same day and no later than 24 hrs after received. Your replacement will be back to you in no time. Defective items are tested when received. All items returned for credit are processed within 3 days of date they are received. This means no long wait for credits to be processed. So if it is a replacement you need or a credit to be issued, you won’t have to wait very long. Our Qualified Customer Service Representatives can help you with any questions or comments you may have regarding your order. 30-Day Return Policy Any part returned for credit or replacement must be made within 30 days of original invoice and accompanied by an RMA#. All items returned for credit or replacement must be returned in a resellable condition and with all original unmarked packaging including blank warranty cards, manuals driver disks, etc. Any item returned with a damaged box will be charged a $35 rebox fee. Products returned for refund will be subject to a minimum of 15% restocking fee. There is no restocking fee for products returned for replacement within 15 days of the original invoice. CPU’s, memory, hard drives and select other items are not refundable but available for defective replacement only. Some items may have a refer-to-direct policy; the manufacturer is imposing this. To Obtain RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization)# Use our easy online RMA form to obtain an RMA#. All RMA requests via e-mail are answered within 24 business hours. RMA REFUND AMOUNT IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE IF ITEM RETURNED IS NOT IN CONDITION AS STATED. The Customer Service Department is open Monday through Friday 8:30am to 6:00pm EST. All RMA#'s are valid for 15 days or 30 days from invoice date, whichever comes first. RMA# must be written on the outside shipping label of all returned packages. Package must be returned freight pre-paid. Do not write on the manufacturers box. All returns must be shipped back to the Ohio warehouse within 30 days of original invoice at: CompSource Inc., 3241 Superior Ave., Cleveland, OH 44114 Attn: RMA#___. System RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Procedure Any system coming back for repair will follow the same procedure listed above. After calling CompSource Technical Support Department to ensure the system is bad, and the problem is not software related or is something that can be handled over the phone, use the online RMA form to obtain a RMA#. System repairs generally take 1-7 Business days, depending on the nature of the problem and availability of replacement parts. CompSource and its authorized technicians only may perform all warranty services. CompSource shall not be responsible and will not honor any warranty claims resulting in any other services rendered to the CompSource system. At the sole discretion of CompSource, the system or its components may be repaired, replace, or substituted. Online Ordering All warranty and return procedures for online ordering are the same as above. Any item returned for credit is subject to a minimum of 15% restocking fee. A product may be exchanged for replacement within 15 days of invoice with no restocking fee, if product is of greater or equal value. Other Circumstances If a package is refused, you must notify Customer Service so the package may be tracked back to the warehouse and a credit may be issued. Customer is responsible for freight charges on a refused package as well as a 20% restocking fee on any refused packages. Once package is returned to the warehouse, you will receive your credit. If a package is lost, damaged, or delivered to wrong address by carrier, you must notify Customer Service so a claim will be put through with the carrier. Claims usually take 2 to 4 weeks to process. Once the carrier acknowledges the claim you will receive your credit. All claims must be made within 2 days of receipt. If an express package is not shipped within the guaranteed time you must call Customer Service. They will put a claim through with the carrier. Once the claim is processed and cleared by the carrier you will receive your credit. The carrier guarantees packages with the following exemptions: Acts of God such as dense fog, blizzards, ice storms, or anything that the carrier has no control of. Delivery times: Standard Overnight 3:30 Business, 4:30 Residential, Priority 10:30 AM Business and 12:00 PM Residential, Fed Ex 2-day Guaranteed in 2 Business days before 4:30 Business 7:00 Residential. All claims must be made within 2 days of receipt. A $25.00 fee applies to all returned checks/NSF. Prices are subject to change without notice. In the event a product(s) is listed at an incorrect stock or price due to a typographical error, error in pricing information received from our suppliers or a ending of a rebate, CompSource, Inc. shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for the product(s) listed at the incorrect price. CompSource, Inc. shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders. If your credit card has been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, CompSource, Inc. shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
